An All Inclusive Winter Skiing Adventure At The Charles Hotel
Munich, November 2019 - The Charles Hotel, a Rocco Forte hotel, is offering guests a city break that includes the perfect winter adventure – a skiing trip with dramatic views and guaranteed snow-covered pistes on Germany’s highest mountain.

The Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain, is only an hour’s drive away and the journey is an experience in itself offering spectacular views of the Bavarian Alps. The skiing season generally lasts from December to April. In addition, the two ski regions at the Zugspitze offer a fun park, a World Cup downhill slope and a wide range of activities for children and families. The region also has plenty to offer cross-country skiers: Bavaria and Tyrol feature a huge network of free cross-country trails. There is no other place in Germany higher than this 2,962 metre peak. More than 400 mountain peaks in four countries can be seen from the summit.

With The Charles Hotel Skiing Adventure Package, everything can be left to the hotel – they only need to know guest’s sizing information for the concierge to organise ski suits. On checking into the hotel, guests will find their outfit waiting for them in their rooms. The next day, everything will be taken care of by a private chauffeur, starting in the morning with the skiing equipment, followed by the ski pass, a piste map including places where skiers can stop off for lunch, and a ticket for the spectacular Zugspitz rack railway. On returning to the valley in the afternoon, skiers will be treated to a glass of champagne and driven back to the hotel in a warm limousine. Back at The Charles Hotel, the winter sports enthusiasts will be welcome to relax in the 800 sqm Charles Spa and round off an eventful day with a delicious meal and excellent cocktails.
